Joe Doherty

Joe is of Māori and Irish ancestry.  He identifies as Ngai Tūhoe, and is a native speaker of te reo Māori.

Joe's immense experience and knowledge of the public sector spans many years as a senior manager and policy analyst/adviser.

Joe specialises in bicultural and Treaty strategies. He has worked with a wide range of organisations, public and private sector,   Maori and non-Maori, guiding them in the development and implementation of bicultural strategies, and helping them to build their capacity with respect to things Maori. He also has a strong background in human resources and strategic planning.

Joanna Doherty

Joanna is of English and Canadian descent and has lived in New Zealand for 20 years. 

Joanna has over 15 years experience in marketing, sales, brand development and business development. She has worked in both the public and private sectors and her particular expertise lies in the areas of tourism, and the arts, culture and heritage sector. Joanna also has many years experience working in a bicultural environment.

Joanna has developed and facilitated a number strategic and hands-on marketing workshops, and has considerable experience in one-on-one marketing mentoring that can help take your business to the next level.
